Year 5 -Dance

This half term children in Year 5 will be showing off their Dance moves in PE. Kimberly will be working with the children to choreograph performances and help children perform specific movements.

Marine Park Football Team

The school football team took part in a South Tyneside Football Competition organised by SAFC Foundation at Mortimer Community College. Sean was very impressed with the team and praised their attitude and efforts to pass the ball about in windy conditions. The team managed to reach the semi finals, however were beaten 2-1 by the winners of the competition, Whitburn Village.

Year 5/6 Tag Rugby

Children in Year 5 showed great determination and commitment at South Tyneside's Tag Rugby Competition at Harton School. Playing against Year 6 children, the children utlised their passing and catching skills learn't in PE lessons to give a good account of themselves against tough opposition. Mr Mackley was very impressed with determination, effort and rugby skills demonstrated by all the children.

 

Year 3 - Quicksticks Hockey Competition at Boldon School

A big well done Year 3! Children in Year 3 have been practising and refining their hockey skills in PE and showed off their skills by competing against other schools at Boldon School. Mrs Maddock and Mrs Douglass were very impressed with children's application and team ethic.
